Christian Hermits Testimony

I grew up in a Christian home, my Father was many things, one of them was an Evangelist. We went all over this country putting up a huge tent and holding revivals. My Father never sought a great reputation nor was he a millionaire. What he did have was the real anointing and though he was not personally chasing money like many ministers on television today, millions did flow through his hands to those in need. Our Father also established several Missions.

The Lord called me and anointed me to teach at a young age. When the Lord anointed me for his service I would spend day and night studying the Word of God. I spent years in the California Desert being taught by the Spirit of the Lord. I listened to no mans doctrine, I read no other books, I watched no Television, listened to no Radio and I did not converse much with others.

Christian Church, the greatest lesson I have learned is that the evidence of any truth or doctrine is the spiritual fruit it produces. My friends, if the doctrine you have been taught has not put your old man to death, you have been deceived. Over the years one thing I noticed in most of those who claimed to be Teachers in the Church was that they changed their teachings as often as one changes their clothing. As society changed so did these Teachers doctrines.

My Christian friends, don't you remember the days when you thought the Pastor had been following you around because when he preached a sermon on sin you were convicted and thought he was talking to you?

I watched as over the years doctrines were introduced into the Christian Church that allowed for more carnal deeds to be committed. I watched as Pastors began to allow young converts to corrupt the Churches. The Pastors began to allow sexual fantasies to become realities. I saw many Christian Churches that began to allow women who dressed like prostitutes work in their offices.

I saw the Pastors beginning to forsake Spiritual music and begin allowing the new converts to bring their worldly music beat into the Churches. I watched as the Pastors in Christian Churches began forsaking the work of the ministry and instead started spending more time in the world doing things that were more pleasing to the flesh.

The Christian Church started saying that God wants the Christian to have fun too! But this was only another way of saying that they wanted to commit sin and not feel guilty. That was twenty years ago, now, just today I heard a six year old child say the same thing about a sexually filthy cartoon on Television. Twenty years ago it was adults in the Christian Church; today this perversion sanctioned by Pastors has now reached our babies and destroyed their minds.

I watched as the Christian Church was overpowered by unclean spirits of homosexuality. Almost over night Pastors began to shut their mouths and not even mention that homosexuality was a sin. This was not simply a change of mind it was demon possession. Soon after this began in the Pentecostal Churches it spread to other Denominations. It wasn't long before homosexuals were even being ordained as ministers.

I am not the Judge of other men's sins, but I do not stop teaching the truth simply to satisfy the wickedness of man.

The following is a testimony to the faithfulness of God. Two things that I have learned from such events as those that follow is, One; There is a God, and Two; I'm not Him.

"First Evangelistic Trip"

In the early 80's I was praying one morning and the Spirit spoke to me and said, "Go to Lodi". So I forsook everything, home, family and all, and went to Lodi. I had no clue as to why the Spirit had sent me to this Town. So when I arrived I began to walk the streets and pray. I walked for several hours with no direction from the Lord.

Finally, as I walked down a street I passed a man who was putting something in the trunk of his Mercedes. I looked at his home also; it was one of the nicest in the area. As I passed by I was somewhat intimidated by the difference in my simple standing in life and the standing of this mans. So I passed on by looking for another. As I passed by the Spirit told me to speak to this man. I continued to walk and resist the Lord.

After some time, and pressure from the Lord, I returned and once again found the man putting something in his trunk. I preached the Gospel to this man and he called on the name of Jesus and was Saved. After speaking for some time with him and instructing him in the ways of the Lord, I said my goodbyes and began to walk away.

The man then shouted, "Wait, I want my whole family Saved". He went in and returned with his wife and children and they were all Saved that day. Glory to God! After this I thought that this was the beginning of a wonderful move of God in Lodi. So I continued my walk, expecting the Lord to continue this work.

As the day ended and not one other person was Saved, I asked the Lord, "Why am I here?". Jesus spoke and said, "Go to that corner over there and look down the street". As I stood on this corner the presence of the Holy Spirit grew stronger and stronger. I then seen something that later I realized was a vision. It was so real at the time that For a long time I thought I had physically seen this.

What I seen when I looked down this street was Churches lining both sides of the street. As I continued to look I seen that it was Sunday and all these Churches were ending their Services about the same time. As the people began to leave these Churches I noticed that they all left the buildings with their faces toward the ground, refusing to look at those leaving the other buildings.

Then Jesus took my focus off of the people and caused me to focus on the names of the Churches.

I was shocked as I noticed that each Denomination had several Churches on this same street. I began to be grieved and wept. I then looked over and saw Jesus standing beside me, weeping.

"My First Encounter with Jesus"

I grew up in a very large family and although our Father was a faithful minister of the Lord we still faced many issues in the family that were not so beautiful. To this day I can still feel the rod of Mom and Dads' Love. Whenever an issue was discovered there was a quick response and price to pay.

Usually it was my dear Mother who would transform and mold us with the rod. But when it came to really big issues we had to face the leader of the pack, my dear, kind, loving Dad.

At the age of nine one of these big issues arose and as soon as Dad was made aware of it the loving rod was swiftly applied to the offenders. Our Fathers' rod was never just the physical one alone, he would set us down and calmly share the Word of God concerning the matter and explain why he had to punish us. Oh, how Dad loved us, over and over and over, and after all that, he loved us some more!

The issue that arose at age nine was about as horrible an issue as can be. The following story reveals how the Lord brought strength and healing to me in this very sad situation. I have purposely left out the issue, but if you have issues that still effect you to this day feel free to contact me and through the power of the Spirit in Jesus name, we will break those strong-holds.

The story begins with a simple visit from my two younger Brothers.

My day had started early and I was busy helping to give out food. I went out to the parking lot to minister to the unsaved. As I was ministering the Lord directed my focus to a big burly biker. Certainly not the type of man you would want to battle in the flesh.

I went right over to this man and began to preach the Gospel. And then with no notice at all he began slugging me. While this was going on a good friend of mine was watching and with all that was in him he wanted to come over and lay into this man and rescue little old Robert. He could not move from his position and I continued to preach and get pounded by this guy.

I finally looked up at the man and simply told him "The Lord loves you so much that He went through a beating so severe that it would sicken even your stomach to look upon Him." At this, the man crumbled and fell to the ground crying and received the Lord.

I shared this because there is a link between what I told this man and the events later in the day.

After the work was finished for the day, I went inside to recover. At that time my two Brothers who had just came into town, stepped in the door.

After some time the one Brother left and went to the store for something to drink. After he had left I decided for the first time to share a story with my other Brother.

I told him that one night as we were playing hide and seek I went to hide under a Walnut tree. There were no lights in the area and I thought I would never be found. When I approached the tree I saw something so incredible that I have kept it to myself my entire life. At this point my Brother stopped me and said, "Now let me finish your story."

My Brother then began to tell this story. Phillip, the other Brother, had told him a story on their way to visit me. His story was this; one night when we were playing hide and seek I had the thought to go and hide under the old walnut tree. When I approached the tree I seen a man so horribly grotesque and ugly that I ran in fear and this has haunted me all my life. Phillip described this man as looking so beaten and bruised that he couldn't stand to look at him.

I then told my Brother the rest of my story. When I approached the tree I seen the most brilliant light I had ever seen. It was hard to focus on it but I could see and understood that it was the Lord. He did not physically speak, but He did speak to me.

The following day I had received the strength to overcome the great fear I had of approaching my parents with the issue that was going on in the family. I went to my Mother and shared with her what was going on. My Mother then went to our Father who swiftly dealt with the issue.

I was never plagued by this issue again.

I questioned the Lord about the glorious image I had seen and the hideous figure my Brother Phillip had seen. The Lord told me that He revealed himself to me in all the glorious splendor of His resurrected body, but to your Brother I revealed the price I had paid for mans redemption.

It is so amazing how the Lord had totally directed this entire day. Our Lord is awesome.

"The Rattlesnake"

I remember one time I had driven out to the desert to be alone with the Lord to pray and study. It was the middle of summer and hot. I pulled off the dirt road and parked under a Joshua tree. After some time I needed to go relieve myself. I had parked so close to the tree that I couldn't open my driver’s door, so instead of simply getting out of the passenger door I crawled out of my window, don't figure!

When I came back to the car, you guessed it; I headed for the window, LOL. As I moved between the tree and my drivers door, Rattle, Rattle, Rattle, a grand daddy Mojave Green Rattlesnake coiled two inches from my leg. The Lord spoke and told me to preach the Gospel to this creature. As he sat there rattling I preached the Gospel. After preaching the Gospel to him I told him, “These are the facts serpent, you bite me and I will not die, but if you bite me, you will surely die."

He stopped rattling and I pushed my way passed him and crawled into the window.

"Dust of the Lord's Feet"

Another time I was praying and worshiping the Lord. A minister had just given me a very nice Cadillac. After a couple of days he called me and said he thought he had missed the Lord and wanted to know if I would give the car back. Sure, I said, come and get it. He had someone bring him over and he took the car.

Soon after I began to pray and forgive my Brother and started to praise and worship the Lord. After quite some time I found myself on the peek of my roof which is a 6 and 12 pitch, in laymen terms really, really steep. Anyway I found myself praising the Lord and running back and forth at the very peek of the roof.

After this I found myself at the east wall of the house and continuing to praise and worship. It was another hot summer day and not a cloud in the sky. My attention was focused on a very small dot in the sky about three or four miles to the east. As this spot got closer it began to grow in size and the wind began to pick up.

As it got nearer I could see that it was a cloud that had formed. The closer this cloud got to me the heavier the winds had become. By the time the cloud had almost reached where I was standing the wind was so strong that it was pushing me up against the wall of the house.

As it passed directly overhead, I was pinned against the wall and at this time the cloud was huge. For a moment I thought this was just some wild desert storm. But as I thought this a voice spoke and said, “The clouds are the dust of my feet." I fell to the ground as the cloud moved on. After a minute I got up and ran around the house and watched as the cloud moved away. The cloud became smaller and smaller until it was just a dot again and disappeared.

The next day I receive a call from the Pastor who had taken back the car. He said the Lord had convicted him and he needed to give the car back to me. He said that he was putting new tires on it and having several other things taken care of first and would then return it, which he did.

"Stairway to Heaven"

Another time I and another Pastor had met to pray. We began walking and praying. Soon it turned into worship. We continued this for what seemed to be hours. We were lost in the Spirit.

At the same moment we both felt something strange. We stopped worshiping and turned to each other and looked in each others face. The next thing we did was look down to the ground which was now about twelve feet down.

We slowly turned around and began to walk down what must have been steps. We worshiped the Lord for hours that night.
